Cheap Flights To Cairo, Egypt

While it can be hectic and loud, there’s a reason Cairo is considered the Jewel of the Nile, and once you get used to your surroundings, it has a unique charm.

Past the built up urban landscape which has formed, the city is home to a number of ancient mosques, churches and other sights to explore.

Once you’re done seeing the sights and taking in the colorful streets of Cairo, you can take a day trip on a cruise down the Nile on a traditional felucca, to experience things from a different perspective.

Head further west and you could also visit one of the Wonders of the World, the pyramids of Giza, or head south to the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll find Tutankhamun’s tomb.

You could also spend a day haggling in the many markets and bazaars that the city has to offer, or just chill out with a shisha and watch the world go by.

In terms of food, Cairo has a great blend of Egyptian, Middle Eastern and Western food to enjoy, the perfect way to end the day in this mystical city.
